The legendary Ford Bronco is coming back to the roads of Iosco County. You read that right — it’s back! After almost 20 years on hiatus, the Bronco will be returning in 2020. The iconic SUV will likely bring back the look and feel of the past with a few modern updates. Keep reading to find out what’s been confirmed and what we expect to see on the 2020 Ford Bronco.
Bronco Build
Little has been officially confirmed about the 2020 Ford Bronco, but we know for sure that the upcoming Bronco will be built alongside the newly announced Ford Ranger pickup. This alludes to the fact that the Bronco and Ranger will have similar builds. Unlike some crossover SUVs that have a carlike frame, the 2020 Bronco will most likely feature body-on-frame construction like a pickup.
2020 Ford Bronco Features
The Bronco of the past typically only had two doors, so it’s expected that the 2020 Ford Bronco will have at least one model that features a two-door body. But since most SUVs — with rare exception — have four doors, it’s likely that there will also be a four-door model.
Possible Bronco Engines
We’re excited to see what Ford decides to put under the hood of the 2020 Ford Bronco, and in the meantime we can speculate on a few possibilities, including:
- Turbocharged 4-cylinder
- Naturally aspirated V6 or EcoBoost® V6
- Turbo Diesel
That said, it’s important to note that nothing has been confirmed, and this model is still a few years off.
