    Colleen Arbour Chapleski is the owner/operator at Dean Arbour Ford of Tawas. She has been in the automotive industry for 32 years, all with Dean Arbour. She started out as the F&I manager in our Pinconning store, then attended NADA Dealer Academy and graduated in 1987. Upon completion she worked as office manager in Pinconning before the addition of the Tawas Ford store. Following in her father Dean Arbour's, footsteps she is passionate about the car business. In her time here, the store has been a proud recipient of the Ford President's Award for 24 consecutive years, being recognized for outstanding customer service and satisfaction. Colleen was named President of the Michigan Automobile Dealers Association (MADA) in 2018 and is the first female president! She loves Dean Arbour Ford because of the caring employees who are customer driven and work as a team plus the overall family atmosphere.

    John has been in the automotive industry and with Dean Arbour Ford for 22 years! He is a huge asset to our team, having worked in sales, as finance manager, sales manager and now general manager. In his time here he has received Employee of the quarter, the Diplomat Society Honor Award and the Ambassador Award. John loves Dean Arbour because everyone here is part of a team that strives to take care of the customer!

Since she has been here she has been awarded the employee of the quarter award! Sharon loves Dean Arbour Ford because "the people she works with here are super!"

    Hi my name is Sharon Muckenthaler and I have been in the automotive business for 10 years. I am originally from downstate, but my automotive career actually started right here at Dean Arbour! In 2000 my husband and I moved to Charlotte, NC. We recently moved back in 2017 - as they say there is no place like home! I was happy to return back to Dean Arbour and see most of the same smiling faces that were here when I left! I am blessed with two children, a daughter and a son, who keep me busy with their sports! In my free time I enjoy making memories with friends and family, running, mountain biking and being on the water. I love working at Dean Arbour Ford for the family atmosphere and terrific team.     My name is Kelly Smith & I have been in the automotive industry and a team member of Dean Arbour Ford for 17 years! I previously worked in the sales department for 10 years and has since been promoted to Finance Manager. My husband and I have 2 grandchildren and enjoy spending time with them, as well as traveling. I especially love traveling in the "street rods" my husband restores! I love Dean Arbour Ford because of "The Team" and because it is all about customer satisfaction!

    Ali has been working for Dean Arbour Ford since 2016. After graduating from Michigan State University, she moved back and decided to join the family business! A 3rd generation to follow in her Papa's (Dean Arbour) footsteps. Outside of work Ali enjoys, hanging out with friends & family, enjoying Northern Michigan summers on the Lake or cheering on the Spartans (Go Green!) She loves working for the Dean Arbour organization not only because it is family, but because of the wonderful team of employees who all work together to give our customers the best experience & having fun while doing so!

    Bob has been in the automotive industry for 19 years and he has been a member of Dean Arbour Ford for 10 of those years. He was a service advisor for four years before being promoted to service manager. Bob is a Ford master certified service manager. He has won the E2 employee excellence award five years in row. Bob loves Dean Arbour Ford because it is home of the President's Award for 21 consecutive years. He loves the fact that the customers and employees come before anything else and that it has been family owned and operated since 1970!

Tina has received both employee of the month and employee of the quarter awards. Recently in 2016 she received Employee of the Year! She loves Dean Arbour because it is "willing to give a person a chance" and it is a fun place to work!

    For those who don't know me, my name is Charlie Smith, I've been blessed by God beyond belief! I married Kim, my high school sweetheart over 40 years ago! I have two great daughters, Jessica and Alissa, who have accomplished more then any dad could ever hope for. I have two grand daughters, Katelyn and Elizabeth, who are everything to me. Couldn't imagine life with out them. 

    P.S. I have been the dealerships top salesman for 30 years in a row. Only 20 more to go! As for working at Dean Arbour Ford, Colleen and our whole team make it awesome!! I wouldn't want to work anywhere else.

    My name is Casey Sweet and I have worked in the automotive industry for 20 ears and I have spent 18 of those years in the sales department with the Dean Arbour family. In my time here I have won Employee of the month, quarter and in 2020 I was named Employee of the Year. I have three kids and I spend most of my time running around with my oldest son who plays hockey and baseball. I enjoy watching him play just as much as he likes playing. My other two children are twins and they keep me busy the rest of my time! I love Dean Arbour for the great popcorn, coffee and family atmosphere so stop in and ask for me!

    Rick has been in the automotive business for 44 years! He started working with the Dean Arbour family in 1986 in the pinconning store. He worked as a technician and service manager. He has been in the Tawas store since 1995. He is a Senior Master Technician. He won 3rd place in the PTS technician challenge/Detroit district 2015, and 3rd place overall both 2014 and 2015. Rick loves Dean Arbour Ford because it is family oriented, and overall a great place to work!

He is a Ford Certified Master technician and has been awarded Employee of the month multiple times. Mike chose Dean Arbour because he always wanted to work on vehicles, Fords especially, and because it was the hometown Ford Dealer that has been Family owned and operated for 46 years!

He has received the Ford certificate of achievement in electrical diagnosis and repair and he is state certified in engine repair, front end and steering, and brakes. Anthony loves working at Dean Arbour because he came from a Ford family and he wanted to be able to fix them!
